It won't work for you.

,

If you check social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube right now,

Chances are you will come across various "how to" kinds of content.

That is content that tells you or shows you how to do certain things.

Everyone out there is claiming to know everything.

Heck everyone is a guru or coach these days.

Everyone is putting out "content" and "valuable information".

And many times - more often than not - these information conflict other.

You will see one "guru" claiming that his method is the best way to achieve or do something.

Meanwhile another guru will come out and say the exact opposite.

Sometimes the information out there conflicts and contrasts so much that if you are a newbie or still finding your foot in your skill, you will end up being so much more confused than you were when you started.

Trust me, I know.

Because I've been there.

Now here's the big question.

What do you do to make progress in your skill or business and maintain your sanity while at it?

The answer is very simple.

It's not a pretty solution.

But it works really well if you do it well.

And what's the solution?

Testing.

Whenever someone claims that something works, don't just take their word for it (even if you trust them and even if they have testimonials to show for it).

Go ahead and test it out yourself.

Because most times, the things that the so-called "gurus" put out as "rules" or "dos and don'ts" are just things that they tried and it worked for them.

And most times, those things worked for them because of their own unique personality, environment and circumstances.

And just because it worked for them doesn't mean it will work for you.

And that's okay.

Because your personality, environment and circumstances are not the same with theirs.

It just means you have to find out what works for you.

And when you do, double down on it.

But you won't know what works for you and what doesn't.

Until you test it out.

Do you get the point now?

Good.

And yeah, even if everybody else says it works for them, don't just assume it will work for you.

Test it out first.

  • They say the best way to improve your copywriting skill is by handcopying and dissecting copy everyday?

Test it out and find out.

  • They say the only place to get copy clients is on Upwork and Fiverr?

Try other places and find out.

  • They say the only way to make money online is by selling courses?

Try something else and see if it works.

You never know, it just might work.

And you'll have learnt something new in the process.

I hope this makes sense and you gained value from this mail.

See you in the next one.

To your marketing success,

Daniel Enisan.
