Good evening ,

Yesterday I told you about your environment and how it affects your beliefs, your values, your mindset, your behavior, your exposure, your impact, your potential and virtually everything about you.

And if you remember, I told you that today, I was going to tell you about one part of your life that your environment affects,

And this part is the needle mover of your life and just as well, determines how you live your life. 

I will get to it in a minute.

But real quick, I think I need to make some explanations to help you understand it better.

As humans, generally we have two types of environment.

There is:

1. The External environment and 

2. The Internal environment.

Under the external environment like I said yesterday,

We have:

i. The Physical environment and

ii. The Social Environment.

The physical environment has to do with the physical things you can see, their quality and how they affect your life.

Here, we have things like the physical buildings, infrastructure like roads, electricity, access to the internet, water supply, access to good food, access to good healthcare, and so on.

The quality of these things in your life affects the quality of your life, how you think, how you behave and how you live whether you know it or not.

Your social environment on the other hand consists of the people around you.

Whether it's your immediate family or relatives, your neighbours, people in your community, local government, state or even country.

These people directly or indirectly shape your behavior, values, ideologies and mindset. 

Which brings me to the second type of environment. 

Your Internal Environment . 

This is the environment that exists within you. 

It includes your thoughts, your ideologies, your values and essentially your mindset. 

And if you have been paying attention to what I have been saying since,

You will realize that your external environment is greatly influenced by your external environment.

Your internal environment (your mind) is just like a computer. 

Garbage In, Garbage Out. 

What your internal environment (your mind) is fed with from your external environment is what it will produce back for you. 

• If you are lazy in your mind, you will be lazy outside.
• If you are evil in your mind, it will definitely reflect on the outside. 
• If you have a mediocre internal environment, you will be mediocre on the outside. 
• If you are afraid and doubtful on the inside, you will be the same outside. 

Same vein, 

• You can't have a poor internal environment and expect to become rich externally. 

It's not me wishing you badluck. 

It's just the way God made the universe. 

And there's nothing you can do to stop that. 

Your internal environment is the needle mover in your life. 

And if you can configure your internal environment (your mindset especially) properly, your life will take a turn for the better. 

Suffice it to say that if you want to change what your internal environment is producing, change what it is getting from your external environment. 

And how do you do that you say? 

Well, it's pretty simple. 

And before you start getting comfortable, 

I said simple not easy. 

Simple, means there is a laid down process that when followed will give you your desired result. 

That doesn't mean it will be easy though. 

And I'm not trying to scare you or anything. 

But if you want to be great at anything in life, it is absolutely necessary for you to condition your internal environment in such a way that it will make it easier for you to succeed.

And tomorrow, I will share with you some of my 2 cents on some steps that can help you achieve that.
