Dear ,

This is probably one of the most trying times in your life emotionally speaking, especially as a young Nigerian.

Because the fate of our dear country is literally being decided (although rather shamelessly unfairly) even right as you are reading this.

And you're probably panic-switching between TV news stations, Twitter, WhatsApp Status and the likes...

Hoping that your preferred candidate who is behind has somehow turned the tide in his favour,

Or that your preferred candidate who is ahead is still ahead and hasn't slipped up in the race.

You're probably also arguing with your friends over which candidate should win and why he is your preferred choice.

All of this while furiously watching helplessly as INEC (the election organizing body which is supposed to be independent and impartial)...

Are obviously manipulating the results,

Or at least are giving room for manipulation of the results, which certainly will in turn decide the fate of our country.

Bottomline, this is probably the most difficult time to concentrate on building or working on your business, whether offline or especially online.

But then you have to remember, those politicians you are spending time watching, reading, arguing, viewing statuses, etc about...

Will not feed you when you become hungry/broke.

And yes I know that you deeply care about Nigeria, no matter how much you slander and speak ill of it.

Truth is deep down, we all do, because there's no other place we can call home.

But then you have to realize that the more time you spend worrying about things you can't control,

The less time you spend on doing things you ACTUALLY CAN CONTROL.

Which is focusing on things like:

• Your business,

• Your monthly income,

• The number of sales you make,

• The number of leads you generate,

• The number of sales calls you get on,

• The amount of research you do,

• Et cetera.

And these are things that directly impact (the quality of) your life, irrespective of who comes into power.

I mean come on, let's face it.

Even in the current administration - which by the way is considered by most people to be the worst administration ever in the history of Nigeria - lots of people have and still make good money and succeed in different industries.

Heck, some people even thrived better (or started thriving) under the current administration more than they did in previous administrations.

Does that make this administration a good one?

Of course not.

But it certainly goes to show you that what really matters at the end of the day (on a personal level) is not the government or administration.

What REALLY matters is YOU and WHAT YOU DO about your life/finances.

So quit sulking about Nigeria and start going about your business like nothing is even happening.

At the end of the day, the results will be released and there's nothing you can do to influence it.

Well, except for one thing, which is to pray.

Pray that the will/counsel of the LORD comes to pass no matter what happens.

Asides that, anything you are doing that does not in any way help to stop the manipulations or reverse the already announced results...,

And is stopping you from doing things that can actually help you or your business, is just a waste of time.

I hope this helps.

And yes, I will also be taking my own advice in this regard.

That said, I wish Nigeria God's best.

And I look forward to seeing a New and working Nigeria.

In the meantime, pray and focus on yourself.

To your digital success,

King Danisan™.
