Many young Nigerians generally approach life with a wrong mindset.

Scratch that.

There are a ton of wrong mindsets that young people have about life.

One major kind of such Mindsets is the mindset of instant gratification.

People don't want to be patient and watch their seeds blossom and grow into the garden they desire.

Instead they want the garden to appear immediately, like right now, almost without doing any work.

That's why you see young people wanting to get rich quick.

And for what?

Just so they can show off/flaunt their wealth and live the "good life".

Meanwhile the shortcuts to gratifying their desire to get rich quick often come with unnecessary, sometimes wicked and painful costs.

Unfortunately this doesn't seem to deter them as you still see some people joining cults or doing rituals all just to make this money quickly.

Along the line, they also pick up bad habits such as drinking and doing drugs.

This cuts their life short and ultimately, they die sooner than they should.

I don't entirely blame them for having this mindset anyway.

The presence of technology in our generation has exponentially increased the speed at which things get done.

Things that used to take days, weeks and even months like transportation and communication to get done...

Can literally be done today in a few minutes, seconds or even less without the stress that used to be involved.

And that has conditioned a lot of us to always want things done faster and faster more than ever before without wanting to go though any form of stress.

The result is the birth of things like:

• Fast food,

• Fast money,

• Fast success, etc

People are no longer patient to let things happen in their due course of time.

And much of the time, it doesn't end well for them.

If you are someone who wants to succeed in any industry you are in,

My advice is that you should delete this mindset from your head immediately,

Because it will do you more than good.

Some people get lucky and succeed faster than others.

But everybody are not the same.

Instead of beating yourself up and looking for shortcuts to replicating their success,

Try to understand yourself, put in a lot of hard work, pray and trust God for divine speed.

Anything outside of this, I don comot my hand for inside.

One thing I know and believe is this.

We will all be great (for those who are intentional about it) and we will all know ourselves.
