Am I wrong {{contact.first_name}}?

Would you look at that .

We're 16 days into the 30 Day Marketing/Copywriting Email CRUSADE.

You know, I'd intended to do this Email Crusade for a long time before now.

But I kept procrastinating and postponing it for a number of different reasons.

On top of that list of reasons was my laziness to put the whole thing together.

But underneath it was an even stronger force that kept me from doing anything about the idea.

This force is something that has plagued me for as long as I can remember.

- It's the force that looks you in the eye and tells you you're not good enough.

- It's the force that makes you question your own abilities.

- It's the same force that keeps you rooted to one spot, too afraid to reach out and do/try things.

It's the force known as FEAR (laced with Imposter Syndrome).

Personally, I feel imposter syndrome is a branch from the root of fear.

  • Fear of failure.

  • Fear of not meeting the ridiculous standards you have set for yourself in your head.

  • Fear of what people will think or say.

And even worse, sometimes...

  • Fear of the sheer power of your own God-given abilities.

Sometimes, deep down what you're scared of is not necessarily that you won't succeed.

Maybe what you're really afraid of is that you'll succeed all too well.

And you're afraid of the responsibility and the expectations that come with succeeding.

You're afraid you'll be required to keep succeeding after your first success.

And you're afraid you'll be exposed as a fraud when you're unable to replicate the success.

So you're afraid to even start.

That way, you don't disappoint anyone else but yourself.

I've battled this force for a long time.

Different thoughts flooded my mind.

I kept asking myself questions.

Questions like:

"Can I keep up with writing consistently for 30 days straight?"

"What am I going to talk about for all 30 days?"

"Will people be interested in what I have to say?"

“What do I have to gain from stressing myself everyday? Is it worth it?”

"What if I run out of ideas?"

And many other self-defeating thoughts.

But pretty soon, I realized the year was coming to an end.

And I didn't want to allow this idea to cross over with me into the new year.

Because by then, I'd probably have lost all motivation and the momentum I've been building so far.

So I decided to start anyway.

And here we are, 16 days in, 16 days STRONG.

And as much as I can say I've grown in these past few days of sending a letter to you everyday,

I can say with confidence that you have also benefited immensely too.

Or am I wrong ?

You can reply to this mail and let me know.

But here's the bottomline.

If you think you can do it, you're right.

If you think you can't do it, you're right too.

Now, "it" could mean anything to you.

Maybe in your business, career, skill, academics and what have you.

But whatever you think about yourself is true.

And here's the thing about thoughts.

T ==> F ==> A ==> R

Thoughts lead to Feelings.

Feelings lead to Actions.

Actions lead to Results.

So logically speaking, your thoughts directly impact your results.

So if you want to change your results,

A good place to start is by changing your thoughts.

This is a good habit you'll find useful in 2025.

Identify thoughts that are holding you back.

Change those thoughts to positive thoughts.

And watch those new thoughts translate into positive results for you.

I hope you succeed.

And may God help us all.

Yours for thinking positive thoughts,

— KD™
