,

It's less than 90 days before 2022 comes to an end.

And while everyone (including me) is probably telling you that you have less than 3 months to "make 2022 your year" or achieve your goals for the year just like you said you would at the beginning of the year,

I'd like to also drop a subtle reminder that as much as you may not have achieved your goals to the level that you wish you had,

You have come a long way if you have come this far.

If you had to go on a journey of 2000 meters on foot, and you have been covering a distance of 5 metres daily since the year began,

Today which is day 277/365 of the year 2022, you would have covered 1385 metres.

That's more than half of the journey.

But even at that rate, at the end of the year you would have covered 1825 metres which is still not up to your target.

And no I didn't come here to teach or talk mathematics (that's for when I'm at work),

But my point is even if the progress you have made doesn't seem like much or isn't up to what you projected or expected,

It is actually a lot more than what you have been doing before now.

Your past self would be so proud of the person you have become now.

You can either view it from the perspective that you have grown a lot, or that you still have a long way to go.

"The glass is either half full or half empty."

Depends on how you look at it.

Although, you need the other perspective to keep you on track so that you don't get ahead of yourself and start claiming or trying to be what you are not.

But most times, it's healthy to appreciate yourself, your journey and how far you have come,

So that you will have the zeal you need to achieve much more than you are already achieving at the moment.

When I started this year, I had the intention of starting this email list,

But I had no idea how I was going to keep coming up with ideas to write about everyday.

If I am being honest, deep down I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to keep up with the daily mails.

And many times, I have sent mails for days in a row and suddenly stopped sending for another few days.

I have kept rising and falling, until I got to where I am now.

I still miss a day every now and then, but thankfully, not the way I did before.

I am very grateful for my journey and my growth so far and I know there is so much more ahead for me,

And I am so excited and can't wait to open the next chapter of my life and how it is going to impact this newsletter.

My point again?

Appreciate yourself and your journey.

Everyone's journey isn't the same, but be thankful for yours and the blessings you have.

This will propel you to do more and have more success.

For the last time,

Don't be an Ingrate .

I hope you got a nugget or two from today's mail.

To your digital success,
