I did it.

Two nights ago I held my first ever space.

And I am so proud of myself.

In total, about 24 person's tuned into the space (it's a small number I know).

But I met new people and made new friends.

And the whole experience was surreal really.

But the funny thing about that space is that the topic itself is a paradox/irony.

Here's why.

I was talking/teaching about dealing with Imposter syndrome.

And I was still fighting the same imposter syndrome from stopping me from hosting the space.

When I started the space, for the first 1 minute or so, na only me dey there.

Omo, I was nervous sha. 🫣🥲

Then my co-host joined, and it was only two of us for the next 1 - 2 minutes.

Then more people started joining little by little.

And to God be the glory, it was a successful space.

Here's what I learnt. Face your fears, no matter what.

If you're afraid of doing something, just do it regardless. Let whatever happens happen.

Even if you fail, you didn't really fail. You just learnt how not to do it. Then you go again.
