Hey there ,

What's up?

Happy Sunday!

It's been a long time we chatted,

Yeah?

And I wouldn't want to begin to bore you with reasons why I haven't sent you a mail in a few days.

But I'm here to make good on my promise to send you a mail every day, well at least for today.

As you know, today just like every other Sunday, I'll just be sharing a random thought of mine with you.

Again, these thoughts may revolve around sales, marketing, Copywriting, content writing, philosophy, life Hacks and even religious talk sometimes.

Of course, you're not obligated to use or follow any of these thoughts of mine,

But I certainly do my best to make sure that these thoughts are as useful to you as possible.

In a minute, I will give you my random thought for today,

But first, do you remember when I told you about a book (hard copy) I started reading?

That was about a week ago.

Well, so far, I have learnt a bunch of crazy, helpful, mindset recalibrating stuff,

And I have begun to see certain things especially money in a new light,

And this week, I will sharing some of them with you.

Meanwhile, today, I decided to take a look at the book where I wrote down my goals for the year.

I thought I'd take a little inventory of my progress so far.

After looking at them for a few minutes, I realized something quite remarkable.

I have made very little progress so far compared to the goals I have set.

Sounds disappointing right?

Yeah I know.

  • Could the reason be because I set very high goals?

  • Or because I set too many goals?

  • Or maybe just because I haven't been taking enough action on those goals.

I really can't say for now, and I'm not surprised though,

But starting this month, I have decided to double down on one particular goal I set...

And in a minute, I will tell you about this goal..

But here's something you should learn first, and you can take that as my random thought for the day.

You can't hit a target that does not exist.

If you want to achieve something and you don't have a target in mind, it's as good as not wanting to achieve it.

Setting goals and targets gives you the drive you need to go ahead and achieve those things,

Especially up to the level that you desire.

Stop saying "I want this", "I want that", "I want to achieve this", "I want to achieve that", etc without actually writing those ideas down and planning how exactly you want to achieve them.

Allow me to introduce a lirru bit of scripture here since it's Sunday.

Habakkuk 2:2 says this:

"And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it."

-Holy Bible [KJV]

After God showed Habakkuk a vision, He asked him to write it down,

So that whoever reads it may run i.e go ahead and implement or achieve what the vision projects.

If you're a Christian who reads his or her Bible, you'll also know that everything we know about the account of the creation of the world was written by the Prophet Moses.

Was he there? Of course not.

But God showed him how all of those things happened.

Imagine if he didn't write them down.

We probably would not know how the world began at all.

But God showed him those things and instructed him to write them down.

Now, if God places emphasis on writing visions, then why shouldn't you ?

There is a saying that goes, "the faintest ink is better than the strongest memory".

One problem that many people including you have is that they rely on their brain too much.

You think your brain is a supercomputer that can remember every thought or idea that you come up with..

As powerful as your brain is , you can't always remember everything you plan to do.

That's why most times, you need to put pen to paper and write them down.

I mean, if our brains are so sharp, then what is the essence of having books?

Without writing, a lot of information that exists today would be lost.

So if there's anything you pick off of this mail today, it's that you should develop the habit of writing things down.

  • You have an idea? Write it down.

  • Got an inspiration? Write it down.

  • You've got goals you want to achieve? Write it down.

  • Got bad habits you want to break? Write it down.

  • Want to plan your day/itinerary? Write it down.

You could write it down in an actual notebook, or you could do it in a digital notebook on your smartphone.

Do what works for you.

Bottomline is, the sooner we all learn the power of writing, the sooner we can all begin to make significant strides in our businesses, careers, skills and our lives in general.

I hope you are blessed by this.

Let me quickly go and write some content.

Okay bye.

To your digital success,

King Danisan™.

PS: I said I was going to tell you about one goal I want to double down on yeah?

Well, it won't be today.

But in the coming days or weeks, you'll hear from me about them and I'll try to keep you updated on how it's going.

Peace out!✌
