You are in the best position to do this…

“Why do you always coming this late at night?”

I’ve been asked this particular question more times than I can remember.

And it’s interesting because the time I usually make my sales round is around the time you’d probably call an ungodly hour.

When I started out selling in the hostel, I didn’t have any strategy for it.

I just knew that during the day, I had to go for lectures and labs, and then do some other activities like assignments, personal reading, sports, fellowship activities, et cetera for the rest of the day.

Usually, by the time I get back to the hostel and rest a bit, it’s already nightfall.

So automatically, the only time I could make the rounds was at night.

But then because of the hassle of trying to make dinner, sometimes having to wait behind a long queue of my roommates trying to cook dinner as well,

I would end up going round much later than I had planned.

So instead of going out around 8pm or 9pm, you’d find me around 10pm, sometimes around 11pm, and on very rare occasions, even up till midnight.

Crazy, yeah I know.

But the funny thing is, even in those “ungodly hours”

I still made a ton of sales.

The thing is, that time is when I’m most likely to meet every member of the room actually present in the room (if they aren’t asleep yet by then).

And though I discovered this by accident, it’s something that has gone on to influence the time I intentionally make sales rounds, even when there’s no other reason for me to go that late.

The point I’m trying to make is this…

In your own business, you will notice some patterns and opportunities, that if well observed and maximized, can help you make decisions that will boost your business’ progress significantly.

Every business is unique,

And you are in the best position to make this observation.

After all, it is your business.

Plus, you probably know the ins and outs of the business like the back of your palm.

So pay attention to those subtle patterns and details that can give you an edge and position you better for profit.

And make sure you maximize those opportunities as much as you can.

I hope this email makes sense to you.

I’m rooting for you.

Oh by the way, what’s something unique about your business (or any business) that you have observed, that can make a person more likely to succeed in that business?

Shoot me a reply and tell me.

I’m waiting for your response.
