I Wasted N45,000 For Nothing.

Most people think that the higher the price of something, the higher the perception of people that it has value.

While that is usually true in many aspects, sometimes, it's the opposite.

Let me illustrate this with my story.

I started buying online courses in 2021.

The effect of COVID-19 lockdown was just beginning to slow down then.

Schools were re-opening, businesses were beginning to resume operations, I was working again and I had just managed to repair the phone that I was managing at the time.

That was the period I started hearing and learning about online businesses and the first one I was introduced to was affiliate marketing.

During that time, because of how attractive affiliate marketing looked, I took a loan of N45,000 to buy a course on affiliate marketing (which I later paid back with some money that I saved up).

Till date, that is the highest amount I have ever paid for a course.

One would expect that after buying a course that cost that much, --especially in that period of "covid-recovering" economy-- I would immediately consume all the contents and start implementing and getting results.

But as much as I wanted to do that, the way it happened was the opposite of how I imagined it.

One problem I had with the course is (and most high-ticket courses) is that most of them are usually in form of videos.

And most times, they are usually long and boring even with the amount of valuable information they contain.

Even worse, after I bought the course, I was on my own.

  • I didn't have access to the course creator,

  • I couldn't ask questions whenever I got stuck (there was a support group on Telegram though but there were thousands of people there already, and I wasn't used to Telegram like that so I usually wasn't active there),

  • There was no motivation whatsoever to push on because the affiliate who sold the course to me just sent me materials and resources to study while he was busy promoting the course to other people... and I was left to my fate.

And to top it all off,

  • I didn't have access to the course creator himself so that I could ask him questions.

You could call all of these reasons excuses and you would probably be right.

  • You could say I was lazy and maybe you would be right.
  • You could say I wasted N45,000 --my hard earned money-- for nothing and you would probably be right,

Especially considering the fact that most of the things I have learnt and implemented so far in my digital journey are things I learnt from 1k, 2k, 5k courses.

But one thing is for sure.

If I had access to an active community which had other newbies like me and we had access to the course creator to guide us wherever we had challenges, I know for sure that the story would have been different.

This is one reason why I like the course creator of the E-commerce Profit System course, Celsus Odikanwa and always recommend it to anyone who is interested in e-commerce.

Aside from the fact that the support community of the course is active and people are always willing to help newbies,

You actually have access to Celsus, the course creator.

He always makes out time to help out his students whenever they have any issues.

Most course creators usually offer a 100% money-back guarantee or refund if you don't get results after implementing what you learn after a certain period of time.

But what Celsus does instead is this.

If after 3 months you haven't gotten results, he won't just refund your money and forget you ever existed.

He will get on a strategy call session with you to find out what the problem is.

Once he figures out the problem, he will guide you on how to solve it.

And if after doing all this, you still don't get results, then he will refund your money.

Show me better deal than that. I'll wait.

While I'm waiting, you can sign up for the E-com Profit System course and start making money from e-commerce in the meantime.

Trust me, this time you won't be wasting N35,000 for nothing.

Or not.

P.S:

Disclaimer:

Your success with any course depends on how much effort you put in.

Refusing to put in effort and then asking for a refund means you are a thief.

So make sure you have the right mindset when signing up for a course.
