Why I always get angry for no reason

I don't know about you,


But sometimes, I just get angry for no apparent reason.


Well in all honesty, it's not usually entirely without reason...


It's just that the reason may not quite be obvious to other people around me.


Even worse, sometimes the exact reason why I am angry may not be completely clear to me myself.


But I will just feel like certain things are not going they way they should.


And I can just feel the rage burning inside me that I just want to lash out or vent my anger on someone or something.


And sometimes it may be because...


  • I am not performing at my maximum capacity (at work and personally),
  • I am not able to manage my time effectively,
  • My days are becoming largely unproductive,
  • I am not making as much/enough money or I am not getting as much results as I know I should,
  • I am not making as much/quick progress as I should in my personal development/skills,


Or maybe even all reasons at once.


But there's one thing I have noticed about this anger I normally feel at times which makes me even want to stay angry most times.


And I'll tell you in a moment, but there's something I have to get out of the way first really quick.


Yesterday, I told you that there was a marketing and life lesson hiding in plain sight right inside yesterday's mail,


And I asked you to reply to the mail to point out what the lesson was, which some people did.


But instead of boring you with all the responses, I'll just go ahead and tell you the lesson I was referring to.


And the lesson was embedded in this part of yesterday's mail...


"I guess it was because it had been quite a while since I played a proper football game, especially one with such intensity..."


Remember that part?


Good.


And here's the lesson which you should take good note of.


Because it had been a (long) while since I had played a football game of such intensity and for the amount of time that I did on Sunday,


My body and joints had become stiff and dormant.


So suddenly engaging in that kind of strenuous activity immediately took my body out of its comfort zone.


And because my body had become used to being dormant for a long time, the aftermath became painful.


But here's the catch.


If I continue playing football frequently from now, my body is going to adjust to the new routine,


And pretty soon it won't be as painful anymore until the pain disappears completely.


And how does this apply to you and your skill/business?


You see, if you decide to stop the doing activities that move the needle or get the results for you,


And after a long while of taking a break, you decide to suddenly get back to doing it,


You shouldn't expect to be able to do it as easily as you used to do it in the past or get the same kind of results without encountering any issues.


And the reason is simple.


You have lost the zeal and the momentum -- which was built over time with constant repetition of that activity -- that made doing those things a lot easier when you were doing them frequently.


But again, the good news is that even though it will be tough at first when you get back to doing that activity,


If you keep at it long enough, you will become used to it again and sooner than you think, it will be just like old times.


You gerrit?


Good.


Meanwhile, here's what I have noticed about my sudden "bursts of anger" that makes me want to stay that way.


Many times that I have gotten angry about something that bothered me,


It has pushed me into a surge of creative thinking of how to solve that problem.


And by natural law, once I put in enough thought and effort into solving a problem no matter how hard it is,


The problem will eventually fizzle away (except it isn't within my power).


And that is usually the case.


Hopefully, this time the things I am angry about will become solved as soon as possible.
