How To WIPE THE FLOOR With Your Competition.

In business, whether you like it or not, you must have competition.
And that is not necessarily a bad thing in itself.
Because if there is no competition in any niche, it means that there is very little or no money to be made in that niche.
Moreso, when there is competition, it keeps you on your toes and forces you to become creative and to keep coming up with new ideas to outsmart the competition.
And overall in the end, competition makes you a better business and sales person.
But then, be that as it may,
Competition can also be the worst thing to happen to you as an online entrepreneur,
Especially if you're in a fairly saturated niche like affiliate marketing, Copywriting and so on.
So you have to always stay one step ahead of the competition, or you will become extinct.
So how exactly do you completely wipe out your competition?
Here are some tips I believe will help you do just that.
1. Be original.
As a "single-person" brand, you need to be original.
Be yourself. Be authentic.
Stop pretending to be what you're not.
Even if you have a not-so-likeable or not-so-common personality,
There are people out there who dig and can relate to your behavior and personality.
And those people are exactly the kind of people you need to be associated with your brand.
You also need to Build Trust and credibility.
Don't make comments or recommend products simply because you want to please certain people or you stand to make money from it.
Get people to see and know that:
- You have a standard,
- You have values,
- You have a reputation to protect and
- You don't just care about money alone.
This way, they would trust whatever you say more overtime.
2. Be valuable.
This cannot be overemphasized.
Make sure you are valuable.
Put out valuable, helpful, useful, Educative and easy-to-understand content out there via your social media platforms.
This is another quick and easy way to build trust and credibility.

3. Hone your craft.
As much as you want to get people to trust you and do business with you,
You need to actually be good at what you claim to do.
You need to have verifiable and visible results to put a seal on your credibility.
Develop yourself to a high level and put yourself out there.
Show your results and document your processes.
4. Think long term.
Most people (including your competition) think short term.
They don't think about the future, that's why you see them begging people to buy from them, and giving panic discounts in a bid to sell more.
Don't be like such people.
Have a long term plan and strategy to remain relevant in your industry.
5. Never stop generating leads.
Dan Kennedy once said (paraphrased),
"You're not in the business of selling. You're in the business of generating leads."
The day you stop generating leads, is the day your well of sales begins to dry up, especially if you don't nurture the audience you already have.
Always try to get more eyes on what you are selling, or what your offer is.
The more you do that, the more sales you will make.
6. Be creative (create irresistible offers).
Always be on the look out for problems of your audience and trends that you can take advantage of to create offers that your audience would jump at.
7. Focus on what moves the needle and outsource the rest.
As a beginner, this may not be a feasible approach.
But when you begin making a certain level of money as an online entrepreneur,
The best thing to do if you want to scale or increase your profits is to...
Focus on what moves the needle and outsource every other thing.
What moves the needle for you may be...
- Generating leads,
- Creating content,
- Pitching to clients,
- Designing fliers for free,
- Conducting research,
- Finding a hot product,
- Getting on closing calls,
And so on.
It depends on your niche.
Once you are already making enough money from your online business,
Focus all your attention on that one thing that brings in the results, and pay someone else to do each of those other things.
Doing this can easily 10X your profits.
