Don't even think about selling any product until you do this.

I've seen many people try to complicate sales.

 

They make it sound all ambiguous, boring, difficult and sometimes impossible, 


But the truth is this.

 

At its very core, Selling has very simple principles, that if and when followed religiously, 


You will sell out your products, services and even ideas if you have. 


There are a lot of selling principles out there, but I am going to point out just one today. 


The first thing you should do if you want to sell out any product is this. 


FORGET ABOUT THE PRODUCT FIRST. 


I know that sounds crazy, but hear me out first.


Many entrepreneurs and business owners just look for shiny products that look nice and seem like what people would want,


And then they start marketing the product with everything they've got. 


But that's the wrong approach. 


You must sell what the market wants, not what you think the market wants. 


Let me explain it this way. 


Before finding or creating a product to sell, here's what you should do instead. 


1. IDENTIFY A PROBLEM 


Look for a problem that exists in any niche or industry. 


For example, in the health niche, there are;


  • People who are overweight who want to lose weight and look beautiful again, 


  • People who are diabetic and want to get rid of their disease and return to their former lifestyle, 


  • People who are advanced in age who want to look younger than their age, 


  • Men who don't last long in bed but want to last for much longer and satisfy their partners. 


And many more examples like that. 


Next, 


2. FIND OUT IF THERE IS A MARKET FOR THAT PROBLEM AND HOW BIG IT IS. 


To make money with any product, you need to sell them to people. Your products are not going to buy themselves. 


Find out if there is a market of people out there who have that problem you have identified, 


And more importantly, find out how huge that market is (that is how many people have that problem). 


As you can see, the problems I mentioned earlier are problems that a lot of people have and want a solution to.  


For example, a person who sells an information product that teaches people how to make money online will most likely sell more of his product than someone who sells an information product that teaches people how to bake bread. 


Why?


It's obvious.


Because there and many more people in the world who want to make money online than there are who want to learn how to bake bread. 


You get it? 


Good. 


So the bigger your market is, the higher the potential amount of money you can make from it and vice versa. 



3. FIND OR CREATE A PRODUCT THAT SOLVES THAT PROBLEM . 


Once you have identified a problem and a huge market is in place looking for a solution to their problem, 


All you have to do is to find a product that solves those people's problems. 


And if the product does not exist yet, you can create it if you have the knowledge and expertise, 


Or you can pay someone else to create the product for you. 


And finally, 



4. MARKET THE HECK OUT OF THAT PRODUCT.


Once the three steps I outlined above are in place, the product will practically sell itself. 


But then, we're not going to leave things to chance are we? 


Of course not. 


You will take the product and market the heck out of it like no man's business. 


Of course, there are some underground principles you must follow if your marketing campaign is to succeed. 


But I'm not going to talk about them today. 


That will probably be tomorrow.
