You are confused

Hey ,
When I started out in the online space, I was a tad bit confused on what exactly I wanted to do...
Scratch that.
I was totally confused on what I wanted to do.
I was clueless to say the least.
Let me give you a little back story.
The COVID-19 lockdown period was the Breakthrough period for most online marketers because almost everyone was at home doing nothing.
And so they were buying lots of courses especially those "make money online" courses because there was no work and everyone wanted to make money online.
This same period was one of the most wasted time of my life.
First off, my smartphone was bad then (screen problem).. And schools were on lockdown so I couldn't work (teach) which meant no salary.
I had to do some private lessons in between to keep body and soul together.
All these while, I didn't know the importance of having a skill.
It was during the few months to the end of the COVID-19 Lockdown effect that I realized how I had wasted almost the entire period without learning any skill.
That was when I went to learn phone repairs.
Soon after, I fixed my phone.
During that period, I started connecting with a lot of course creators, Influencers and so on whenever I saw their posts. ..
And with their Copywriting tricks and gimmicks, let's just say I bought quite a number of courses and signed up for quite a number of classes...
Some I benefited greatly from , some I quite frankly did not use them.
In fact, the first course I bought (which is a very popular hot selling course now in Nigeria) was N45,000 at the time,
And I'm not proud of it, but that course has been my most underused course of all time..
Does that mean the course was not valuable?
Definitely not.
There are tons of people (some of which I know personally) who have benefited hugely and made some good money from that same course I under used.
So I don't regret buying the course (all of them) ... And soon, I'll be making use of the information in the courses I haven't fully utilized.
The courses I have benefited the most from a were a lot less expensive than the first one I bought.
Those courses taught different skills like Graphics design, Logo design, Copywriting, Affiliate marketing, Facebook Ads, Email marketing, Leads Generation, content creation, etc.
(Fun fact: The expensive course I bought taught most of these skills by the way)
So you can imagine how confused I was when I started out.
I started with affiliate marketing, then I moved to graphic design, then copywriting, then logo design and so on.
It was later I settled for Copywriting...
I still do graphic design, content writing and Affiliate marketing on the side though...
The point is, till now, I am still in the process of self discovery and the search for clarity of purpose...
But one thing is for sure..
I sure as heck am not as confused as I was when I started out.
Why?
I just told you FGS!
You don't see it?
It's simple.
I started out!
That's it.
Most people wait for a sign from heaven or for someone to give them clarity before they start out.
But sometimes, you just have to accept the fact that you are confused and it's okay.
It's okay to not know what you want to do yet.
Clarity and success are not destinations, they are journeys.
Your confusion will help you to begin asking questions and trying out new things..
Once you begin to do this, you have started making progress..
And in a few short months and years, when you look back, you'll find that you have made a lot more progress than you would have if you were waiting to get clarity before starting.
I say this from experience.
Just start moving.
And you will gain clarity and find your purpose as you move and very soon, you will become successful.
I hope this makes sense to you,
That's all I've got for you today.
Till tomorrow, when we meet again.
To your digital success,
King Danisan™.
