That's How I Got The Gig!

,
A few days back, a friend and brother of mine reached out to me...
And made enquiries about the cost of repairing a particular phone.
According to him, the phone belongs to his elder sister.
So he would have to call her first if he could repair the phone and then get back to me.
I told him that I would be hoping to hear back from him as soon as possible because I would be going back to school this weekend.
The next day, I messaged him and he said his sister actually wanted to repair the phone for herself,
Which means he wouldn't be able to use it for what he wanted initially.
So he said he would ask her if she really wanted to repair it now so that I would come pick it up and get it fixed.
But then I didn't hear from him again the next day.
So I decided to to message him again yesterday,
And he told me he would call her yesterday.
Meanwhile, all of these discussions had previously been happening on WhatsApp.
So today, I called him.
He didn't pick up at first.
A few minutes later, he called back and then told me that he just finished speaking with her and that I could go and collect the phone.
And that was how I got the gig.
There are quite a number of lessons in this short story.
And I'm just going to share a few of them with you.
Ready? Let's go.
1. Not everyone buys immediately.
If you are doing business online or you sell anything online,
Know this that 99% of people don't buy something the first time they come across it.
In fact, the average person has to see an advert or promotion of something for a minimum of about 7 times before they buy it.
So if you advertise or put your products out there on the first day and you don't get customers, don't worry about it.
Just keep showing up and putting your business out there.
Eventually, someone some people will buy.
2. The money is in the follow up.
The entire reason why I got the gig at all (especially with the limited time I had left),
Is because I followed him up.
If I had left him, he probably would have forgotten about it.
And by the time he would remember, I probably would have been back in school.
But by CAREFULLY following him up, I was able to get him to do what was necessary,
And I got the gig.
So always try to follow up your customers whenever they show interest in buying any of your products.
And NO!
That doesn't mean you should go and start disturbing people and pestering them in their DMs.
If you do that, you might get blocked or even insulted.
My hand no dey that one.
There are more sensible ways to these things.
And that is why one of the modules of the EPS program is dedicated to this topic.
In that module, you will learn everything you need to know about CLOSING sales.
Especially how you can recover customers who have coconut head who get to your page and decide not to order.
With the strategies you will learn, your sales will definitely increase.
Because the REAL money is in the follow up.
This module alone is worth at least N20000.
And that's just one of the things you will learn when you get the EPS program.

Oh and one more thing.
One way to keep showing up, and show your product to your audience consistently until they buy...
Is by generating leads from Facebook.
And to do that, you need to know how to Run Ads on Facebook in the first place.
And you can learn it with a small commitment of just 5k that cannot even buy well packaged pizza.

Have a lovely night's rest.
