Hi ,
Happy Sunday!
Hope you went to church?
I trust you did.
Anyway, today is Sunday and as usual, I will be sharing a random thought of mine with you.
If you're new to my list, every Sunday, I like to talk about random thoughts on my mind.
Those thoughts may revolve around Copywriting, Sales, marketing, life Hacks and sometimes they are just truly random.
And in a moment I will dive straight into today's random thought.
But before that, I want to quickly drop a subtle reminder to you.
Today's date is 3rd July, 2022.
As you know, the second half of the year has started already.
And you don't need a soothsayer to tell you that in the twinkle of an eye, "like a thief in the night", 2023 will be here,
And if you don't take proper care, it will catch you unawares.
And I don't mean to burst your bubble or anything, but just like I said on my WhatsApp Status a few days ago,
This next set of 6 months that started on Friday will be exactly just like the last 6 months in terms of progress, productivity, achievements and goals crushed,
Well, not unless you change your approach.
So this is me telling you to look back on the first 6 months of the year and evaluate your progress.
Look at those:
- Areas where you are lagging behind,
- Areas where you could have done better,
- Areas where you need to focus on,
- Areas you need to pay less attention to,
- Things you need to outsource,
- Moves you need to make more of,
- Strategies that worked that you need to double down on,
- Strategies that "bombed" and that you should never try again,
- And so on.
Just take a few minutes to do this exercise.
Trust me, you will gain clarity when you are done with it and you will know exactly what you need to do to make the remaining parts of this year the best it can be for you.
Kapish?
Good.
Now, let's hop on to my random thought for today...
"Good day 'mummies and daddies',"
"I am here to recite (tell you) my random thought for today."
"My random thought for today is taken from the book of Matthew 7:7, and it says..."
"Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek, and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you." (Holy Bible - KJV)
Lolz..
Just kidding about the recitation part,
But since today is Sunday, it only feels natural for my random thought to be taken from scripture.
One thing that is true and that I have come to realize is that many of life's principles that work can be found in scripture.
These principles may seem simple and like something everyone should know,
But you will be amazed to know that these simple principles are what people still find difficult to engage.
You want something, you need something, you desire something so badly, yet you fail to take the necessary simple steps?
If you really want it that bad, then all you need to do are these three simple things:
1. ASK
- You need help? Ask.
- You need money to start a business? Ask.
- You want a raise at your place of work? Ask.
- You want a job? Ask.
- You want referrals from your customers? Ask.
- You want reviews from your customers? Ask.
This thing is very simple really.
Ask, and you shall receive.
Although, asking for something doesn't guarantee that you will get it,
But you will be ten times better than the man who keeps fantasizing about and imagining getting those things he wants instead of asking.
2. SEEK
Many people ask for something, and if they don't get it, they just give up. If that is you, then you are going to miss out on a lot of your desires.
Valuable mineral resources like Gold, Crude oil, coal etc are not found on the surface of the earth or just in common places.
You have to search various places and dig very deep before you can find them.
God made it that way for a reason.
If you want something or anything good, valuable, useful and important to you,
Then you need to be ready to do some seeking and searching.
Stop sitting around waiting for things to come and find you where you are.
Go out there and search diligently for what you want and grab it with both arms.
Or as the famous saying goes,
"The patient dog, NA HUNGER GO KILL AM".
Well, no be me talk am, but you get the point sha.
3. KNOCK
There are some blessings, resources and valuables that are hidden in certain "rooms" or "houses" which are locked,
And for you to gain access into the "rooms" or "houses", someone needs to open the door and let you in.
For that to happen, you need to first knock on the door, and then convince, persuade or give the "gatekeeper" reasons why you should be allowed into the "room" or "house".
In life, when God wants to bless any man, He does not come down to do it himself.
Instead, he sends other men to do it for him.
God uses men to raise men.
This means that for you to succeed, you need other people to "open the door" for you.
There are several men who are the "gatekeepers" of various niches and industries.
The moment you make a strategic connection with them and get them to "open the door" for you, within a short period of time, you will find yourself at the top,
Simply because you met the right person, and knocked on the right door.
Relationships are a different kind of currency, and they are more valuable than money.
When many people come in contact with rich people, the first thing that comes to their mind is to ask them for money.
That is where they miss it.
That is a very wrong approach .
This topic is very broad and it would take me a while to explain and expound on it very well, so let me just postpone it for some other time.
Just bear it in your mind that for you to succeed very quickly, you need to "knock" on strategic "doors",
Meaning you need to create strategic relationships with strategic people who are "gatekeepers" of the niches and industries you want to penetrate.
I hope this all makes sense to you, because that's all I've got for you today.
You have yourself a nice Sunday evening ahead.
To your digital success,
King Danisan™.

So make sure you are here tomorrow okay?
Good.
Bye now.
