It can be very funny sometimes,

May 02, 2022 10:01 am

Good morning ,

If there's anything I've learnt from the Cash Out With Copywriting Class I finally concluded yesterday,

It's that most of the time, the reasons why you don't do those things you ought to do,

  • Those things that are likely to take you from where you are now to where you'd like to be,

  • Those things that will help you in your growth and personal development journey,

  • Those things that will help you make impact, influence and some income along the way,

  • And many other benefits,

The reason is very simple.

And it's amazing just how much this simple reason holds you back from being the absolute best you can be in life.

In just a few short moments, I will divulge this simple and obvious reason,

But before that, I've got some questions for you to ponder over and answer truthfully.

1. Did you achieve your goals you set last week?

2. Have you planned this week?

3. Have you written down any goals for the week?

These questions might sound pretty cliché, but they're very relevant to you, especially if you want to be intentional about your life, growth and personal development.

You may think you have everything you want to achieve in your head and you don't need to write them down.

But I can tell you for free from experience that that is total BS.

Sometimes, we overrate our memory's ability to remember all the things we want to do,

"The faintest ink is better than the strongest memory"

That saying stands to be very true.

And sometimes, we just get so immersed in the activities of the day that we forget the things we actually wanted to accomplish for the day.

And before you know it, Monday is gone, Tuesday, Wednesday, the whole week is gone.

And it keeps going on like that until months and years are gone without you achieving anything.

My advise?

Write those goals down.

If possible, write down the steps involved in achieving those written goals and start acting on them.

You'll make much more progress that way.

Or not.

Na you sabi.

I've said my bit.

Now, to the reason why you don't make those life changing decisions,

It's really simple.

You doubt yourself too much.

You think;

  • You're not good enough?

  • You're not intelligent enough?

  • You're not grown enough?

  • People will criticize you?

  • People will laugh at you?

The last 2 reasons may be true, but in reality, who cares?

Those people who criticize and laugh at you are the same people who will like to be reckoned with you when you succeed.

So why bother about what people will say?

If you're so bothered about what they will say, why not block them from seeing your posts and activities?

I'll tell you a secret.

I've got quite a number of acquaintances I blocked from viewing my status... Including some members of my family.

Why'd I do that?

Simple.

I don't need negative energy around me from people telling me I'm too materialistic or "carnal" because I talk about money a lot.

Or someone mocking my posts because they know me inside out and feel like I have nothing to offer.

It can be very funny sometimes, but I'm sure you get the point.

Bottomline, stop doubting yourself.

Do those things you think you can't do. Launch out. Challenge yourself.

You'll find out that you have been underestimating yourself for too long when you see just how capable you are of certain things.

The same way I thought I couldn't teach a class online , until I hosted 2 FREE classes and 1 paid class all on copywriting.

Even while the classes were going on, I had some doubt in my mind about my ability to deliver..

But as God would have it, the classes were all blockbusters..

To God be the Glory.

Don't forget the main take-aways of this mail:

1. Write down your goals and act on them as often as you can.

2. Stop doubting yourself. You're better than you think.

I think I'll stop here for now.

That said,

Have a great and productive week ahead.

Till tomorrow, when we meet again.

To your digital success,

King Danisan™.
