Kick Ass Challenge #0013
Jan 31, 2021 7:03 pm
Today's challenge is all about fears. (Shoutout to Janel for sharing this one!)
Being able to take a moment to reflect on our greatest fears is powerful. Why?
Because fear is a universal emotion that everyone experiences, no matter what age/profession/race. We all feel it, experience it, live with it, and can learn from it.
Honestly, one of my greatest fears is losing my wife, who's also my best friend. I couldn't imagine life without her.
This year, I started daily journaling to remind myself of all the things I'm grateful for (wife, family, friends, you guys) and to live life purposefully. It's been a powerful exercise, which I highly recommend and takes only 10 minutes to complete.
With that, here's this week's exciting challenge for you:
Reflect on your greatest fears
Submit proof of your fears & reflections (written/video/reply)
- List out your biggest fears and ask, "Why is this scary?" Read how Jess Semaan lists out her fears and how she addresses each of them. (read more)
- Tim Ferriss conducts a monthly process he labels "fear-setting", which he attributes to his biggest business and personal successes. (read more)
- Most often, it's not failure we're afraid of. Rather, it's the fear of not acting. Tomorrow's Feb 1st. What's something you haven't started yet but could tomorrow? (read more)
Support and encourage others who've committed to the challenge as well. Challenges are better when there's accountability.
Share your own challenges and help others grow and learn.
Have you joined our free community yet?
Thanks again for tuning in as always, it really means a ton.
Take a pause this week, reflect on your fears, and most of all, stay happy.
Happy Sunday and have an incredible week!
