Trauma reshapes the brain.

When children experience trauma on multiple levels sadly it becomes the lens they view life through.



"See how very much our Father loves us..." (1 John 3:1) It's His mercy that trauma is healed in relationships.

Most children in Kenya don't have books at home.

Trying to pay for school fees and buying food is more more important for most families.

And books are sadly missing from so many schools.

Someday I'd love to have a library and share books with lots of people.

For now I'm just happy I can share with the children around us.

Maybe its a reading hour during their holidays from school.

Or just an ordinary day with a knock on the gate.

A child wants to return the last book they borrowed.

Reading is one of my favorite childhood memories.

A book and a friend create beautiful, healing moments.
