A few details I missed sharing -

• the doctors initial assessment of Stewart was that he had 2nd degree burns over 20% of his body. At that point none of us realized he had a small burn on the upper part of his leg. We don’t know how he was burned on his leg and there was no hole in his jeans. The burns on his right cheek and arm are definitely deeper. I wonder if they could be 3rd degree?
• I also failed to add that when I called Bethany to see if Verlin could come and help she was still at the meeting I had planned to attend. My mind still paralyzes when I think what would have happened if I hadn’t been at home.
• we are so grateful because we know God is the sustainer of life and the giver of every good gift. The support of our community has been amazing on so many different levels.

Dr Franklin (our family doctor) & Dr Ahmed - many thanks to them for leaving their families and coming to see Stewart at night. Dr. Franklin told me that he had no idea how serious it was when I called him.
