Social media has so many great benefits! Things like staying in touch with friends and family, getting news story updates and of course marketing your business.

But it can also make you feel overly stimulated, unhappy at times and burnt out.

I spend a ton of time on social media because of my job, but I know I'm not the only one. That's why sometimes I just need to take a little break.

A social media break can look however you want it to. You can set daily boundaries, like no email or social after 7pm.

You could take a weekend off (that's what I did this past weekend, and it was so nice!).

You could also delete the apps from your phone for a week or so to completely decompress.

Whatever feels good to you will make a difference when you come back. And if you're using social to market your business (which I hope you are) scheduling your posts makes this super easy!
