Content ideas for 8/16-8/20
It's time to get up close and personal! Answering questions and spilling it all in Reels this week. The great thing about a solid video editor is you can ramble on and on, talking on a video, and edit it down to only what you need. So don't worry about getting it right and pushing the record/ stop button. Just press play and start talking. If you slip up, simply take a deep breath and start over. You can easily trash your mistakes and add smooth transitions between clips to make it look finished. Grab your favorite beverage, get comfy and push play and tell all!
Monday 16- #TellAJokeDay You know you have a good joke tucked away, one that needs to be shared with your followers. If not, Google is an excellent resource for humor. Especially industry-specific humor. Using short-form video to tell a joke is a great way to get creative and engage your audience!
Tuesday 17- Do a Reel outlining a typical day in the life. Take a video clip at 9 AM, 12 PM, 3 PM, 6 PM, and bedtime. Make it funny or informational about your business. A video game sound or tech-type music will work great for this! If you are having a hard time coming up with ideas for your specific line of work, reach out here. I have some ideas!
Wednesday 18- Why did you start your business? Film a 30-second clip of you talking about the 'why's’ of your business. Jot down on paper 3-5 key points to mention in the video, and any body movements or dancing that you can add to the video will help!
Thursday 19- #WorldPhotoDay Well, this is somewhat self-explanatory! The great thing about IG Reels is that you can put photos together to make a video. Select 10-20 photos in your video editor to fuse together, think of a few relevant points to mention about the common theme of the photos and pop them into text bubbles, download to your phone, upload to IG, pick a great trending sound, and POST!
Friday 20- Turn the tables, describe your ideal client! Think about 3-5 qualities you love to see in a perfect client. Using text bubbles and pointing fingers is a great way to make the 'ideal client' feel like you are talking to them. A catchy upbeat sound will help execute this Reel beautifully!
