In 2020 I was spending hours on LinkedIn connecting with business owners and came across an account of someone who had spent some time on Tik Tok for their business and was seeing great results.

Up until this point, I knew Tik Tok was rising in popularity (it actually grew 5x in 2020, exponentially among users age 25-45) but I was so hesitant to use it. I was, honestly, completely against it. I refused to even play around on it, but something about this women's story piqued my interest, so I decided to give it a try.

I spent the next 60 days or so just learning and practicing and doing. I wasn't great at it, but I was getting to know all the features, tricks and tips. During this time I ended up finding Rachel Pedersen, an incredible marketer who, to this day, has become one of my mentors (I'm apart of her online mastermind called The Social Clique).

By January 2021, I was on the phone with a new potential client (a plumber) who told me one of their goals was to get on Tik Tok. Perfect timing! I was just thinking I wanted to add this platform to my services.

They became my first Tik Tok client, we had great success! Multiple "viral" videos, 11K followers, reality TV offers, speaker opportunities, new team, new customers, event an increase of sales for them to finish their year at $3M.

Tik Tok has opened so many opportunities for my business and my clients. I'm curious, are you using it yet? What have you seen?
