As you may or may not know- last week I went to a huge trades conference in Orlando (Pantheon 2023). It was so fun meeting so many new people, learing and being inspired...and getting up close and personal with Gary Vee.

If you read my emails you know how much I like the guy! He's a super smart marketer who also likes to bring positivity and inspiration to people of all ages and walks of life. I want to share with you some of the take aways from the 45 minutes I heard him speaking:

1. You should be spending 20 minutes a day learning new AI
2. You should be spending 15-30 minutes a week connecting individually with your team- shorten your all-team meetings and keep everyone standing up to avoid unnecessary chatter. (He's trying for 7-minute meetings next year, but he really prioritizes getting to know people 1-on-1)
3. When creating content (video, social ect), you don't have to sacrifice quality when you work toward quantity (also, you can't overflood the newsfeed- you can't post too often)
4. Lead costs are continuing to rise so to combat that you have to be good at grabbing people's attention. Figure out where your potential customer's attention is and try to be among the first people there.
5. Instead of "demonizing new technology", figure out how AI can help you excel at and grow your company.
