This is what's missing in your social media strategy

If you've ever failed at getting sales from your social media, this is the email you're going to want to read.
You’ve heard that people buy from people, but have you really thought about it? I was working with my 6 weeks social media sales training students and talking to them about how important your story is. You should have stories that you tell over and over again.
I'm a big follower of Gary Vee, and because of that there are some things about him I know, because he talks about them all the time:
He wants to buy the NY Jets
He cares deeply about being kind and happy
He uses the F word in his content
He started off doing YouTube videos for his dad’s wine store
He loves to garage sale and then sell the items
These 5 stories tell me what kind of person he is way more than what type of business he does. And all of them together create a person who I admire, who I regularly consume content from, who I see as a thought leader, and who I would be honored to be recognized by, learn from or work with.
Instead of focusing so much on content that will “sell your product or service” start creating content that tells your story. Create content that is personal and builds your brand. This is how you will reach that next level of success.
