The celebrations are over! Celebration is so fun but it's so nice to get life back to normal, right?

But talking about vacation is actually a PERFECT example of why planning content is important.

If you are running a business that doesn't mean you have to go dark during a break. Get everything scheduled out ahead of time. You can do this for free using Facebook Creator Studio.

I'll admit, I did not do that for me. But you better believe all my client's posts were still going, stories every day, everything moving right along even though I wasn't working.

If you have a B2C business (meaning you service consumers, not businesses) then keeping up with your social media presence is important! Start scheduling today!

Content ideas for 7/5-7/9

Monday 5- Do your readers, followers, and potential customers recognize your face, know the sound of your voice, and feel fully informed by YOU? You have to think of your IG as your digital storefront. Customer service is still so important ahead of the sale. Be silly, be informative, film your pitch. However you do it, make sure you're putting a face to the name of the biz and making it personal and engaging! 

Tuesday 6- #InternationalKissingDay This can be silly or romantic but a great hashtag to get involved in.  If you are single, get your precious pooch or pet involved!

Wednesday 7- Mid-week and it’s time to make a Reel! If you have not been in a Reel yourself yet, challenge yourself to it. This week's theme is all about YOU! Your audience wants to see your face, see you talking, dancing, or demonstrating something relevant. The more you involve actual faces in your feed the better the engagement will be.

Thursday 8-Batching and stretching out your content is a great way to get the most out of your videos and photos. Use a group of already posted photos to make a still photo Reel (that’s a thing!) If you have ten photos with something in common, add them all to your video editor and pick out a song in Reels to go along with them. 

Friday 9- #NationalSugarCookieDay It’s a pretty simple concept, right? Make cookies or pick them up at the store. Gift them to team members or eat them all yourself. Document, post and engage!
