Last week I went through many of my early videos and some things stood out to me. I had trouble getting traction at the beginning but I did a lot of studying (and more importantly a lot of posting).

Here are some tips that could help you on the journey from 0-1000 followers.

1. Clean your camera lens before you start. Believe me, it makes a difference.
2. Edit your videos to cut any dead air space- especially at the beginning of the video.
3. Start with a hook. You have such a small window of time to catch someone's attention. You have to start with a hook.
4. Practice being comfortable in front of the camera. That casualness and authenticity really helps
5. Try talking videos and trends- the talking videos will eventually get you the biggest bang for your buck.
