March Newsletter

Mar 31, 2023 9:56 pm

Hi there!

The month of March has come and gone.

I've celebrated my birthday, worked on several wips, while trying to promote my books, of course.

March has been both productive and not.

For the writing I hit some milestones, and this is the current progress, let me make a little list:

  • Four Threads of Fate (Second edition): 16 chapters - 44498 words
  • The prequel: 18 chapters - 52673 words
  • A Heart of Love and Lies: 1 chapter - 3124 words
  • FTOF novella: 1 chapter - 3609 words

The release schedule for all these will be posted on my IG soon!

As for my life, I finally have a date planned to go to a psychologist.

And I booked a trip to Athens!!

I am so excited and I will definitely share pictures wherever and whenever I can. I'm going to visit the Acropolis, gravesites, the Agora, maybe even take a bus to Delphi.

Besides that, I have finally gotten some reading done 😊

The books I read this month

Yes, I know this one was in last month's newsletter as well, but I honestly only finished it in March so...

And it's the only one I read 😕

The Stolen Heir ~ Holly Black

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

A nice sequel to the Cruel Prince Trilogy. It had good and slow moments, but it did keep my attention.

Oak and Wren were a nice pair, constantly dodging and attracting each other. The other side characters were alright, but were a bit flat at times.

I did miss Jude and Cardan. I had hoped to see at least something of them, but they were only mentioned a few times.

The book ended on an illegal cliffhanger, though... so I'll be waiting impatiently for the next one.

Now for the books I am planning on reading this month.

Serpent and Dove ~ Shelby Mahurin

Bound as one to love, honor, or burn.

Two years ago, Louise le Blanc fled her coven and took shelter in the city of Cesarine, forsaking all magic and living off whatever she could steal. There, witches like Lou are hunted. They are feared. And they are burned.

Sworn to the Church as a Chasseur, Reid Diggory has lived his life by one principle: thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. His path was never meant to cross with Lou's, but a wicked stunt forces them into an impossible union—holy matrimony.

The war between witches and Church is an ancient one, and Lou's most dangerous enemies bring a fate worse than fire. Unable to ignore her growing feelings, yet powerless to change what she is, a choice must be made.

And love makes fools of us all.

That was the end of this month's newsletter!
