☕ The Tuesday Tea - What will you grow in your indoor garden?

Mar 16, 2021 5:46 pm

Dear ,

Thank you so much for helping me with cover options last week. So many of you reached out personally to explain why you felt the way you did. I loved hearing from you. The vast majority of voters (70/30) preferred the vector cover, though I know she doesn't quite look 40-something. I'll be making a few small tweaks before a cover reveal in a few weeks.

Now, on to our tea... when I was little, I dreamed of being a kitchen witch, mixing up mysterious concoctions, growing my own fresh, organic ingredients and using them to soothe body and soul. As it turns out, I'm completely devoid of magic in the kitchen.

Maybe that's why I'm so fond of tea? It's so easy to make! When I found out you can grow some common ingredients indoors? I knew I'd have to give it a whirl.

Unfortunately, tea leaves take about three years to mature, but there are several herbs you can grow indoors and use for herbal tea mixes or as additives.

Mint

Chamomile

Lemon balm

Lemon verbena

Lavender

Ginger

What is your herbal of choice?

(And have you ever tasted catnip tea? Is it for humans or is it just for cats? Either way, I think this is something our kitty can get behind.)

While you're taking sips, be sure to check out the following books...
