☕ The Tuesday Tea - Avoid being confused with Big Foot

Jan 25, 2022 1:40 pm

Dear ,

In winter, sweaters and good books go hand-in-hand.

Over the past few years, my family has gifted me a generous collection of sweaters. I also have quite long hair that falls out and gets trapped in the fibers. It was not until recently that I realized this hair has a way of migrating, like two big, burly tumbleweeds, directly under my arms.

SO, if you don't want to look like your underarm hair is so bushy that it's growing through your garments, please take a moment when you remove your sweaters to also remove those lovely bundles of fur.

And if you've suddenly realized you've been walking around resembling Sasquatch, consider a cup of lemon balm tea to help boost your confidence the next time you venture out.

How to Make Confidence-Boosting Lemon Balm Tea

Lemon balm is a common type of herbal tea that you can buy from many sources. You can also make it very easily for yourself at home. Lemon balm is easy to grow in the ground or in your kitchen. Once you harvest the leaves (before it blooms in late spring, for the best flavor) you can dry them and store them for several months or you can make a fresh concoction by snipping leaves off at the stalk.

For dried, place 1TB of leaves into a cup and steep for 10 minutes. For fresh, use 2TB of leaves. Sweeten with honey, agave, or sugar.

While taking a sip, be sure to enjoy a good book!
