☕ Tuesday Tea - More Frui-tea Treats for Summer

Aug 01, 2023 12:46 pm

Dear ,

Adding a tea-infused treat to your luncheon adds an air of sophistication without demanding the same amount of work involved in other culinary creations. So when I saw this recipe on MarthaStewart.com, I just knew it was made for me. It's fast. It's easy.

It impresses without the stresses.

Plus, it's simple to tailor to different tastes. My young son and daughter would rather eat this snack without any additions. This recipe gives you the ability to customize without jumping through hoops (or dirtying extra dishes). I have changed it slightly.

Tea-Scented Melon

Ingredients:

3 cups of your favorite refreshing tea, such as Jasmine green tea

2 Tablespoons honey

2 lbs of assorted melons, cut into wedges, cubed or balled

1/2 cup mint leaves

Place melon in baking dish

Stir honey into hot tea

Pour tea mixture over melon

Add mint leaves

Refrigerate for one hour

Scavenger Haunt

by Kelly Brakenhoff

Beware the goddess in the graveyard!

Chaperoning two ten-year-olds who find a chunk of Hawaiian lava rock shouldn’t be hard, but Pele’s curse could get Cassandra Sato fired, for real.

Carson, Nebraska is the perfectly spooky setting for tricks, treats and haunts in this fast-paced adventure.

Until next time,
