Who wants to go on a beach escape?

Happy Wednesday everyone!
Hope you're all doing well and staying safe.
This week I started something a little different and picked up my daughter's watercolour paints. Here's a bunch of spring daffodils as a treat (hopefully; it's only my second go at watercolours so it's a work in progress.) But I had a great time away from my computer and totally absorbed in the painting, which was very much needed.
This week sees a slew of great recommendations, plus a beach escape promotion with a bunch of great beachy reads.
As always, I love to hear from you, so please do get in touch if you'd like to.

This Week's Wonderful Recommendations
Gaia Sartori is supposed to marry. Unfortunately, rather sooner than later. After her father's death, her family's farm, Sunny Grove, needs a new leader — a man.
Never mind that Gaia can fire a hunting rifle and hit any game, even at a distance that makes guys sweat. It's not enough, her mother says. Though it's 1962, in her small town in Southern Italy, two women living alone on a ranch aren’t safe.
But Gaia's got her own ideas.
She enjoys taking care of their homestead. Alone. She certainly isn't interested in the wealthy gaffers her mother tries to fix her up with or in marrying in general.
Or at least she wasn't, until one day, she bumps into a mysterious stranger...

Jennifer Wilson moves home to Pawley Island, South Carolina, a tiny historic beach town.
A death in the family and a broken engagement are a reality check for Jennifer. Once upon a time she promised herself she would never leave this charming little town, but a relationship led her to the big city and life got away. She’s back and it’s time for life to slow down…or so she thinks.
Jennifer’s world is turned upside down when a new love interest, Peter, shows up at her beachside cafe. Jennifer knows she’s not ready for love, but Peter is a charmer and one date seems harmless. Little did she know that this date would change her for the better and worse…
Peter plans a date to Stargaze Island, a small island off the coast that hosts the best stargazing in North America. The sun sets and the two are off ready for a romantic evening together. Jennifer and Peter arrive at the island and the blanket barely hits the ground before something doesn’t feel right on the island. What they discover will lead them on an unforgettable journey.
The journey is one of adventure, love, friendship, and second chances at life.

Sara Paul and Darcy Mitchell met in an online millionaire group for women trying to balance work and relationships and became fast friends. Sara is a highly successful tech mogul in San Francisco; while Darcy is a jet-setting world traveler and author who tells others about her adventures in geocaching.
Davis Mitchell, Darcy's brother, fell head over heels for Sara the moment she walked into the boardroom of the law firm where he worked; unfortunately, the timing wasn't in his favor. A mutual friend brought them closer together, and they had unmistakable chemistry, but Sara was dating someone else. Should Sara ignore their chemistry and focus on the other relationship or risk everything for a chance at true love?
Levi Grant worked the front desk at the Callaghan Hotel where Darcy was giving a seminar about her geocaching experiences. When they met, they formed an instant connection but soon learned they were opposites in nearly every way. Would their opposite personalities drive them apart or was it exactly what they needed to balance each other out?
Will these two couples be able to work through the ups and downs life throws at them to create lasting and enduring love?
