Hi! I want to apologize! I definitely should have sent this email sooner but I'm hoping you also feel it's better late than never! And I definitely should have been sending you more emails in general, but teaching 1st grade online/hybrid during COVID took it out of me! Now that it's been summer break for a couple of weeks, I'm finally getting my footing.
So for the past 11 years, I've been a school teacher. And for 7 of those years, I've been thinking, "ok, this is my last year for sure!" And this past year was actually my last, finally. It's not that I don't like kids; I don't like standards- I just want to play!
"So if you're not teaching, then what are you doing now?" everyone wants to know. Well, I have 3 big projects!
- Lather and Light Co. Have I told you I have my own candle and soap business? I make everything myself by hand with all-natural ingredients and lots of love!
- Savvi! I partnered with an amazing new athleisure wear brand that I absolutely love and we're launching on Sept 17! I'm looking for a few people to join me! More to follow...
- Taking a pause to see what calls to me when I listen deeply. Teaching reiki classes? Kids' yoga? Herbalism? Women's circles? Yoga classes? Back for more ytt? Mindfulness classes for trauma? Something I haven't even become aware of yet?? Too soon to say... but I'll keep you posted, promise!
Let's dive into #2. Savvi has changed my life!! I love the community of women working together and raising each other up. I love the cute, comfy clothes (it's what we're all wearing right now anyway, right?). And I love that I can share it and empower others, especially since we're still in prelaunch!
