Crescent Moon

Do you ever feel really motivated to do something and then the next day, not very excited about it at all? In the lunar cycle, there are yang phases and yin phases. Sometimes ideas get trapped between them. Most likely in the next yang phase, you'll recover your enthusiasm. Here are some ideas on what to do during your crescent moon yin phase.

The new moon asked you to dig deep and feel into your needs and desires to choose one focused inspirational intention. That's heavy lifting! Now the crescent moon gives you some space to rest and restore. That doesn't mean drop everything, but it's not a time to hustle and push. It's a time of being, restoring, listening, receiving.

Take some quiet time for yourself- take a walk in nature or a bath, draw, read, enjoy a cup of tea, spend time with your crystals or plants-- whatever you know soothes your soul. Taking time to rest allows your mind to process things in the background. It also allows you to restore so when it's time for action, you're energized and ready to make those big life-changing moves.

Meditate on your intention and its outcomes; visualize the steps you need to take and how it will be once you've taken inspired action toward your intention. This is the perfect time to make a plan and conceptualize how you can manifest your intention.

Write an affirmation or 2 based on your individual intention! Think of what you will receive when you manifest your intention and state it like it's already yours. If it's 51% believable, your brain will allow it to become your truth. If this intention feels too far-fetched, add a phrase like I am becoming... or I am on the path to... instead of I am... Your affirmation is something you can use every day of the moon cycle to help guide your intention into reality. If you want help transforming your intention into an affirmation, feel free to hit reply.

Here are a *bunch* of general affirmations for this cycle-- choose the ones that resonate with you and fit the focus of your lunar intention

Also, I recommend this surrender meditation by my friend Melinda. It's been transformative for me and I know she'd love to share it with you.

My main guide to moon tracking has been the book Lunar Abundance by Ezzie Spencer- in case you're like me and you love resources.
