It is true that cruise fares are increasing just the same as our day to day living expenses. But to keep cruising you need a strategy and a plan to get the best possible prices. Sometimes you might come across a reasonable fare when booking short term, but more often than not, that’s not the case. Cabin type and location is not the best. But your best strategy is to book early!

This past week I attended a webinar with Princess Cruises and they announced a promotion called Score for ’24. During this webinar they outlined this promotion as being the lowest public fares possible! This will be offered for many future sailings. I do think that other cruise lines will be doing this exact same type of promotion - which is offering the lowest fares now, for all future sailings. As I look at fares and availability for winter sailings, I am amazed to see how much is already booked!

Princess has a new ship coming out in Feb ’24. It is called the Sun Princess and a totally new class of ship. The ship will sail the Mediterranean all next summer then arrive here in the US in Oct ’24. The Mediterranean voyages are starting as low as $999 per person on the Sun Princess!  Alaska fares starting at $399 and cruise tours starting at $999 per person. Caribbean cruises starting at $349 per person. British Isles $1249 per person next Summer.
