Hello future cruisers of Celebrity Reflection!

We are nearing final payment date, but I wanted to provide you with some excursion information. Below I have put together a list of shore excursions in each port. There you can read about and book yourself. I also include a link for that port incase my recommendations don’t hit your adventure spot. Please read the location for pick up and drop off. They do provide a link to google maps. Once you have decided the excursion go the check out. There will be a box that says Promo….be sure to enter CRUISE10 (case sensitive) to get 10% off your excursion until June 30.

Barcelona

Here is a site that you can comb through and look at excursions. Once you book any of these tours, the starting point is explained well and with the help of google maps!

Below are some of my recommendations.

One of the simplest ways to see the city is Hop On and Hop off.  You can purchase a 48-hour pass or a 24 hour pass. They start/meet up in Playa Catalunya which is at one end of Las Ramblas

Sagrada Familia – the most well know landmark in Barcelona and the amazing work of Gaudi.

What is Spain without Flamenco?

Montserrat

This is a wonderful tour and Wine Tasting! A trip to Montserrat is nice. There are a few others to Montserrat tours, so read the description well. You may find other options you prefer.

And here is a FUN cooking class. Learn how to make Paella and enjoy wine while cooking

Currently I am looking at an evening walking tour sampling wine and Tapas.  This was the full dinner selection.  I have done this twice before and it was wonderful. I was able to get a business card from the guide we had last year.  I am going to see how we can have him again. I will be doing this the night before we embark the ship, Oct 18. As soon as I hae more information I will be in touch.

Marseille

I was here last fall and took a private tour to Bandol and Cassis. Beautiful countryside.

From everything that I have read, there is a Petit Train that takes you to the center of the town. It is at the far end of the marina. I am sure plenty of people will be walking that direction. I plan to find a coffee shop and try some bread or pastry. Also, this is the home of Bouillabaisse!

Palma de Mallorca

A beautiful island. It has been 5 years or so since we have been, but when we did go, we took a full day tour, seeing the island. This year we are doing a biking/tapas tour. Come join us! It was option 3 that you need to click the link and make sure it is the morning tour.

How about a short boat trip around the harbor?

Hop On Hop Off…..my suggestion is to start this very early. There will be two other ships in port and this is popular way of getting around. Get on, but don’t get off when there are this many ships in town.

Gibraltar

https://www.viator.com/Gibraltar/d50813-ttd?pid=P00006171&uid=U00195755&mcid=58086

This is a great place to walk into town and find a British Pub to have a pint and Fish and Chips! It is about a 1.5 mile walk into town, but there are taxis right outside of the terminal. They use Pounds as the currency, but a credit card is easy to use. All of Europe is contactless payment systems for that matter. As this is the last stop, the price of liquor was pretty good, so if you are not flying home, check the prices here.

The biggest attraction here of course is the ROCK, but the other is to see the Barberie Coast monkeys. However, be careful, they are great pickpockets! Here is tour that I would recommend.

There are other things to do in Gibraltar, so check out the top link if you have more particular interest.

Bermuda

This is a beautiful island, however we are not there very long. After a few days at sea, you will want to get off the ship just to walk. The old fort is close by and small shopping area just off the pier. But here is a general link for the island, if something fits out short port of call.

Dont forget to use CRUISE10 in your check out window to save 10%

This all the info I have for now. Take the time to read about the places you are going and make plans for each port, because you have a lot of sea days to follow. The better that you plan now the more relaxing the vacation.  Remember to purchase your travel insurance. I can give you a quote, BUT I need to know your hotel cost, and airline cost if paying money or using points. Just send me an email, and I can get this all worked up for you. I am glad to answer any and all questions that you have.

Regards,

Kathy Hays Cruises
