How were the sprints?

How did the Five Days of Writing Sprints go for you?

I received some feedback from one woman who told me that she was able to write out ten pages for a new book idea that's circling in her head. Isn't that amazing?

Sprinting is an incredible way to catapult your creativity. A few short stories of mine have come out of placing my brain into this fence of fifteen minutes and forcing it to get words out on the page. I've never had an entire short story finished and polished within fifteen minutes (wouldn't that be fabulous if that was possible?) but I've had several starts. And sometimes the starts are the hardest!

I'd love to hear from you on what you thought! Just hit the reply button and your email will go straight to my inbox.

If you have something from the sprints that you're thinking might be great for a book, check out my Start Your Book in Five Days mini course and keep going!

Or, if you're looking to keep sprinting with what you've already got check out the Creative Writing Community. We sprint three times a week, help each other brainstorm our ideas, have a private Slack group to talk about all things writng and publishing and have experts come in to chat with us. We've had Jeff Elkins just come in (aka the Dialogue Doctor) and we are having Mal Cooper and BookBrush com in October!. You can set up a time to chat with me about it here or head on over to my website.

Keep writing,

Kat
