Hey , Happy Midsummer! 💙 📚
Happy Midsummer (or Glad Midsommar, as you say in Sweden!). I know that it was a few days ago, but as it's one of my favorite days (and even inspired a short story of mine about a witch who comes into her powers...) I thought I'd wish you a happy Midsummer all the same 😊
Did you have any plans for the longest day and the shortest night this year? What did you do? In an ideal world, I would have been wearing a flower crown and frolicking through the fields... but alas!
Read on for an exciting update about a conference, my new dystopian space story, and, of course, free books!
Life Update
At the beginning of the month, I was lucky enough to go to an author conference in Madrid. Writing can be lonely sometimes, so it’s really motivating to meet and chat with other authors! 😍
Here are some photos from the trip of me with a few incredible authors:
Emilia Zeeland, me & A.G. Marshall
Violet Fox, Ginna Moran, Emilia Zeeland, me, Caroline Peckham & Katie May
Have you read any books by these amazing authors? Let me know!
Writing Update
Tell me, , do you like stories set in space? How about on the Moon, and with a dystopian element?
I’ve been sitting on this news for a while… I’m SO excited to finally be able to share that my new story, The LUNA Trials, was accepted into The Dystopian Guide to the Galaxy Anthology!! 💫
I had so much fun writing The LUNA Trials… and yes, you guessed it! It's set on the Moon! And of course, there’s a dystopian twist!
The Anthology is out on July 1, and it will be free to read in Kindle Unlimited! You can preorder it today!
Here’s the cover and the description for the whole Anthology. In my next update, I’ll share the description for The LUNA Trials specifically.
Get ready to strap in for the ride of a lifetime.
Escape from a dying earth, travel through the stars, and discover exotic planets in this thrilling new anthology.
But reader beware:
Nothing is ever as perfect as it seems.
The authors from Dystopian Ink have teamed up to take you on a twisted journey throughout the universe. Fourteen epic stories explore the dark side of human nature and government overreach where lines are muddied and survival isn’t guaranteed.
For fans of Red Rising, Hunger Games, The Twilight Zone, and Dune, these captivating tales will transport you on an otherworldly adventure where unlikely heroes are forced to take a stand for justice to ensure a better future for their species…
Or die trying.
