To our valued contributors, community groups, sponsors and local business,
Due to the Easter Long Weekend, and because our printer is due for servicing, we need to bring our deadline forward for the April Edition of Kalbarri Town Talk magazine to this Wednesday the 20th March.
This is a one-off thing, usually you have until (at least) the 23rd of the month to get in your stories or update your advertisement. And we don't mind a last minute submission either, however don't wait this month, you might miss out!
If you haven't submitted a story to use for a while, we would love you to start doing so again. We have been receiving more stories in the last few months which we really appreciate! At our most recent Committee Meeting we identified the following topics that our readers are interested in;
- Food, cooking and recipes
- Gardening, plants, native flora and fauna
- Recycling and protecting the natural environment
- Health, sport, fitness, fishing, surfing, local walks and activities
- Local stories, who's who, what's on in the community
- Social economy, sharing economy and how to save money on life's essentials as we see costs of everything rise...
And to those who regularly send in your contributions, we appreciate you so much. We also have room for more Front Cover photos and Page 3 Animals (any local animal will do, we've done plenty of birds!) so don't forget to email us your beautiful photos.
We would also like to extend a warm welcome to Rebecca Bond who recently rejoined out committee! And a big thank you to Anna Harford and David Read-Evans who have been keeping the operations side of things ticking along whilst Editor Fred works remotely for a few months.
