We all go through ups and downs in our life. Do take your time to process the down and then to pull yourself up by focusing on what matters.

As a student this could mean you didn't get an internship. And that sucks. I didn't secure a summer internship during my masters. I got into a rut - I would do my part time hours and then just watch netflix.

Someone close to me helped me get out of it. First step was to go to library everyday instead of staying home. Then it was just write a piece of code - any code - solve a leetcode question. Next step was expand your knowledge based on what you learned. I had a path planning class where I learned BFS, DFS and A star. So I looked at what is next - RRT and RRT*. I learned that and then coded it and converted it into a project.

Hope this inspires you to focus on what matters and take a small step in that direction.
