80-20 rule // Robotics Newsletter Vol 55

Sep 07, 2023 6:01 pm

Hi,

Today's newsletter is going to be short and quick. There is a principle called 80/20. 80% of your results come from 20% of your work.

Whenever I am reviewing candidate resume, you see candidate add a whole list of skills - every small thing they can think of.

So how do we apply 80-20 rule here? If you are interested in Robotics Software positions, your 20% top skill is coding - C++ and Python. So through out your resume make sure you are highlight that you know these skills.

Have internships, projects or competition where you coded? Write the programming language used where you mentioned the project.
