Hi,

A simple underrated soft skill is follow-through. Let's say someone asks for you for a favor - I missed the class, can you share your notes with me? And you say sure, I will go home and sent it.

Following through means sharing them or sending a quick message, hey I got home late will get them to you tomorrow.

I get it life happens, you forget or get busy. I know I do. And still the times, I do remember, I build reliability and trust.

Following through is a simple soft skill that can do wonders for your relationships - personal and professional.

❤️ Things I am enjoying right now

📖 Book - Essentialism by Greg Mckeown - are you sacrificing the important thing for what looks important but actually isn't? On surface level it is easy to say do the important thing but when it comes to choosing between 2 choices, are we able to zoom out and ask the tough question about what is important here? That is the crux of this book.

📺 TV Show - Only Murders in the Building (on Hulu) - I love murder mystery and this is also comical. The show is about a girl and 2 old men who live in the building and meet in the elevator and connect over listening to true crime podcast. Eventually get pulled into solving murders in the building. There is fun banter between the cast, silly mistakes and eventual reveal of the mystery.

📲 App - Barcodes - it is an app that let's you store your loyalty cards. There is one-time payment option which I prefer over subscriptions. It helps me stay organized with all the loyalty and reward cards. I like the simplicity of the app.
