Back in India, my college had a placement cell. Which meant they would call companies on campus and give them our resumes. And if they liked it, we got a chance to interview.

When I came to US for my Masters, I got a bit of a shock. There was no placement cell. While there was a career page, there were barely any Robotics jobs on there.

I had to apply for internships and jobs on my own. And I didn't know a lot of companies in Robotics. So it was googling and looking at Linkedin.

Over time, I started keeping track of companies I applied to or heard about. And now I would like to share it with all of you.

❤️ Things I am enjoying right now

📱Things (App) - I love this app called Things. It is a to-do list app with ability to add recurring tasks & much more. The part I like is it gets you to add a task and assign a date when you would like to do the task. I can also add deadlines which means if I am lazy, I can push the task to another day. And it is a one-time payment. I hate subscriptions!

📝Creator Economy (Article) - I came across this one in another newsletter I follow. It gives you a good realistic picture what it is like to become an influencer/ youtuber/ content creator for making money.
