Hi ,

We are often told you have to follow a specific path to a career. In today's world, that is not true anymore. You can switch fields anytime.

That will help you stand out. While most people are coming from engineering background into Robotics, you can stand out by being a non-engineer. You get to bring your own set of skills learned from another domain to Robotics.

Yes, there will be challenges - be it skills or knowledge where you fall short. But again it is something you can pick up. There is tons of knowledge available these days. So if you don't know a topic, you can google it or watch a video and get upto speed.

The one thing that I believe is truly need is direction and guidance. If you can someone to help you navigate the transition, you will be able to do it.

I interviewed Anna who talks about switching into Robotics from a non-tech background and also talks about different career paths to take - in my latest video 👇
