Hi,
- Tailor Your Resume: Customize your resume to highlight relevant skills, projects, and experiences in robotics. Example if a job description mentions ROS2, make sure to highlight that on your resume.
- Build a Strong Portfolio: Showcase your robotics projects, research papers, and any related work through an online portfolio or GitHub repository. One of my interviewers told me they checked out my website (from resume) and saw all my project videos.
- Network Actively: Attend robotics events, conferences, and meetups to connect with professionals in the field and expand your network. I got a referral which led to a job from a person I met at a conference.
- Follow Up: After interviews or networking events, send personalized thank-you notes to express your gratitude and reinforce your interest in the position.
