Do you have a story? // Robotics Newsletter Vol 99

Hi,
Do you have a story? - This is an important concept. When you are interviewing, it isn't just about skills. It is about connecting and leaving an impression so at the end when they are discussing which candidate to hire, you can be in the lead.
Story doesn't just have to be about what got you into robotics, it can be about other topics - what got you to be in this city, how did you hear about the company, maybe a sport you like and how you got started in that sport. Stories are how you can give a sneak peak into your personality and connect.

❤️ Things I am enjoying right now
📖 Book - Oversubscribed by Daniel Priestley - It is an eye opener about how products and services stay oversubscribed. An interesting example was about a magician did a show and then took to streets outside to deliver a bit of extra experience which helped them become oversubscribed.
📺 Movie - Death on the Nile - I am a huge Agatha Christie fan, so watching this movie adaptation was fun. If you enjoy mystery and murders, I would recommend watching this. It also has Gal Gadot.
🎶 Song - Shaky Shaky - It is a Marathi song by Sanju Rathod - the same singer famous for Gulabi sadi. I love the song as well as the Rajasthi dance moves in the video.
📲 App - Hoopla - I use it with my library card to read books. They typically don't have return dates so I can read at ease.
