Power of 30 day challenges // Robotics Newsletter Vol 57

Hi,

I like challenges, it motivates me to do the hard thing. And if I do a challenge for 30 days, there is a good chance it sticks as a habit.

Example - When I was job hunting, I did a 30 day challenge of solving 2 leetcode problems a day. I even made an excel sheet to track my progress. Results - I got into the rhythm of coding, increased my confidence and did well in coding round of interviews.

Here is a challenge - I am doing this month - 10,000 steps a day. It is turning out to be more difficult than I thought. It requires 1.5 - 2 hrs of walking to get those steps. And sometimes I am just a few steps short and am walking around my room before midnight to complete it 😂

So if you are job hunting, here are some ideas for 30 day challenges:

+ 2 leetcode problems (1 easy, 1 medium/hard)

+ Apply to 2 jobs a day

+ Work on a project for 1 hour a day

+ Networking - Reach out to 3 people a day
