Hi,

Over the past few weeks, I have had a chance to look at internship and job postings from the employer side.

The number of applications you can end up with for one position is insane. Within a day, you can get 500+ applications for a large well known company. Even for a medium company it is about 150+ applications.

Given the large influx of applications, job postings are often taken down within a week of going live.

So here is my advice, don't wait too long to apply. Always be ready with your resume and apply as soon as possible.

📖 Book - How will you measure your life? by Clayton Christensen - I am still reading through this book - it gives a unique insight into different factors and their importance. For example - money in a job matters - but it not a motivator - if you don't enjoy your work or not challenged enough, you will be unhappy.

📺 TV Show - White Collar - rewatching this. It is show about a conman who now works as a consultant to help catch other criminals. Stellar cast, good writing and good plot.
