One Bag, Saving Time, and a new Squat

Hi ,

I hope you had a great weekend and are looking forward to getting into this next week. I've had an awesome weekend getting outside.

This Monday I wrote about my experience living out of one bag, which at times has been an awesome experience and at times impractical. What I've found is that the less things I own, the easier it is for me to focus on the things that matter. I've found a lot of benefit to having fewer items, particularly clothing, that I really care about.

On Thursday I wrote another ode to automation that looks at two tools, Zapier and Integromat, and gives some quick use cases for them. I think automation is an easy way for people to take control of their time and am therefore looking to expand my skill set in that realm.

Finally sitting in a deep squat has saved my hips. Last week I was perusing the internet looking for ways to improve my hip mobility and came across this wild concept, sit in a deep squat. I'm talking an ass to the grass squat. I found my hips to be a sticking point for about a week after doing these, refusing to allow me to get all the way down. As time progressed my mobility has gotten better and I've been able to sit in that position comfortably, even doing some light rotation work. Here is a video that shows a bit about how to do it. I'd encouage anyone into stretching to give this exercise a stretch.

Respond to this email and tell me what you're most excited for this week!
