Let’s talk about something most people don’t say out loud:
Not everyone in your world is happy for you.
Some people don’t want to see you win.
Not because you’re doing anything wrong, but because your growth reminds them of their own limitations.
And instead of doing their own work, they might question yours.
You’ll hear things like:
“Why are you doing that now?”
“You’ve really changed.”
“That must be nice.”
And it is tough to hear.
It is hard to see the people in our lives not be as excited as we’d like them to be.
It can make you question yourself.
Wonder if you’re doing too much.
But here’s what we need to remember:
You shouldn’t lower your standard for those who refuse to raise theirs.
Your growth might make people uncomfortable.
That doesn’t mean you need to stop.
You just need to find the RIGHT people.
The ones that will celebrate the wins WITH you.
They are out there.
They exist.
So keep making things happen.
I’m in your corner.
I believe in you.
I love to see you win.
Make this week extraordinary.
